Accessibility
Last updated 19 October 2026
The Forge is for anyone who wants to keep the promises they make to themselves. That has to include people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, larger text or reduced motion. If something on this site or in the app gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA on this website. This is a goal we work towards, not a certified claim: we test as we build, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we do
- Light text on a dark background, sized to stay readable on a phone.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
- Real links and buttons, so you can move through each page with a keyboard.
- Arabic text is marked as Arabic and right-to-left, so screen readers read it in the right language and order.
- Animations calm down when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages work when you zoom in, and the layout reflows on small screens.
Where we may fall short
Some parts of the site and app are new and have not been fully tested with every assistive technology yet. The iPhone and Android apps are checked separately from this website. If you hit a barrier, please do not assume it is known: tell us.
Tell us about a problem
Email theforgemaster1@proton.me with the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five working days, and if we cannot fix it straight away we will tell you when we expect to.
Need it another way?
If you need any page, policy or document in another format, such as plain text, ask at the same address and we will send it.
