Write Your Creed

You don't have a
discipline problem

You have an undefined target. Ten minutes to write down what you are chasing, why it matters, and what staying the same costs you. Free, no account, nothing to install. This is the exact first step inside The Forge, and you can do it here on your own.

Start from a template, or blank

STEP 1 OF 4

The target

Three horizons. The year gives direction, the month gives shape, the week gives something you can actually start on Monday.

STEP 2 OF 4

The why

Goals fail on the days you don't feel like it. What carries you through those days is not the goal. It's the reason underneath it. Ask "why?" five times and stop at the answer that stings.

The five whys: a worked example

I want to bulk to 85kg of lean muscle.
→ Why? Because I'm tired of feeling weak and overlooked.
→ Why? Because I've shrunk from things I wanted my whole life.
→ Why? Because deep down I don't believe I can change.
→ Why? Because every time it got hard, I quit.
→ Why? Because if I don't prove myself wrong now, I never will.

STEP 3 OF 4

The cost, and the prize

Write down what staying exactly as you are will cost you, and what it looks like when you get there. Both, specifically. Vague costs do not move anyone.

STEP 4 OF 4

Today, and the stakes

One to three things today that move the week forward. Then the reward if you finish, and the price if you don't. Stakes you'll actually honour.

Now comes the hard part

Your Creed is written. Nothing about writing it makes you do it on the Tuesday you're tired. That's the part The Forge handles: it locks your phone during focus, shuts the day down at night, and puts three people on your streak who see every miss.

Free 14-day trial when it opens. No card. Your Creed stays in your browser. We never see it.
